In a bizarre crossover event that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the formal statement, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of prohibited practices and monstrous changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine cult.
The mission centers on "strange experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Changes
The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Bonus Features
Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an exclusive katana alongside several artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This release also introduces the game's newest no-cost story content, titled "The Mystery."
