The second-hand marketplace Users Voice Frustration Over Sizing Modifications
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has altered its measurement guidelines for women's and children's garments failing to inform all users about the change.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media claiming that product pages now present a different size category compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
Vinted explained the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to review their products and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, resulting in member annoyance.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Before the change, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
User Stories
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Manual Updates
Another shopper, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: last year, the platform withdrew an update to its shipping options due to shopper criticism.
